ISE Students Scholarships

On Thursday the 20th of April 2023 we hosted the first ISE scholarship award ceremony. The ISE team and students were joined by Des Traynor and John Burton.

ISE students Rosie, Amy, Pardis won the EDI scholarships

The Immersive Software Engineering (ISE) course at the University of Limerick (UL) was very excited to present our first two scholarships awards. Thanks to the generous financial support of Intercom and Transact Campus, ISE had two €10,000 scholarship awards to support Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) on our new programme. In fact two of the submissions for the Intercom scholarships made such and impact the judges and the Intercom team that it was decided the scholarship would be shared by two students.

The Intercom scholarship valued at €10,000 to support EDI was awarded to both Emily Roys and Rosie Kennelly, both will receive €5000 each to assist their study programme with ISE. The Transact Campus scholarship was for €10,000 rewarded to Pardis Nourouzi.  Des Traynor co-founder of Intercom and John Burton vice-president of Transact Campus kindly visited the ISE studio on the UL campus to present the awards in person.

Rosie, Emily and Pardis were over the moon with their awards and we know they will be put to great use.
